Holiday Hope Chest Program
A message from Alexander Ward, Esq., and the NCBA Young Lawyers Division:
It goes without saying that in these tough economic times, we are all feeling the pinch to save wherever possible,
and often times our charitable efforts are the first expense to be cut. But these tough times are exactly why it
is more important that ever that we help the underprivileged and needy in our community. That is why the
Young Lawyers Division of the NCBA gears up for its ninth year of participation in the Holiday Hope Chest Program
run through the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, it is even more important that we get your support.
As you may know by now, through this program, the Young Lawyers Division purchases and packages holiday
gifts for distribution to underprivileged children throughout the Lehigh Valley. Over the years the success of
the program has allowed us to expand from giving a few wrapped gifts, to last year warming the holidays for close
to more than 500 area children. Each box costs approximately $20 to fill, and we are hopeful that we can meet and
surpass last year’s achievement, but only with your help.
In support of our mission, we will be accepting monetary donations from now through November 10, 2014. Checks
may be made payable to the Northampton County Bar Association and mailed to:
